ZELAYA is a space conceived for experimentation, creation and investigation that aims to focus on the exchange and dialogue between different disciplines, fostering the encounter between performance disciplines, visual arts, music and literature.
ZELAYA is a space in construction, always in movement. A territory for the rehearsal and presentation of theatre plays and workshops, seminaries on performance, direction and playwriting, cinema screenings and literature events and visual arts exhibitions.
ZELAYA embraces an integral conception of art in which authors, directors, actors, musicians and filmmakers can share experiences and actively reflect on their own creative processes.
ZELAYA is an area of teaching and research, a retreat and a haven. A space-garden in the middle of the Abasto neighborhood where artists can dig deeper into the practices of their creative realms.
